This book tells us the story of Malala Yousafzai from her birth to her Nobel Prize. In this book, we can learn what were the steps which led Malala to become known.
I really liked this book because I didn’t really know the story of Malala. This book allows me to learn historic and geopolitical facts. The main character of the story is obviously Malala and I thought that she’s really inspiring. Indeed, she fought the Taliban for her rights, without fear. I think that the fact that Malala is real adds beauty to this book. We can think that it’s not impossible to fight for our rights, and to win those fights. When I read this book, I felt determined and I wanted to know what was the next part of the story! Moreover, the book is really easy to read for English beginners because the writing is pretty big and this is a short book. The vocabulary is easy to understand too.
What I liked less was the cover of the book, because the art was not my style. It contrasts with the tone of the book, making it seem like a comedy. I think this is the only point I disliked.
I recommend this book to young readers, who want to learn this story of Malala, or who want to rediscover it! If I had to give a mark to this book, I would give it a 4/5!
